LawFi, a funding platform for legal loans, says it has formed a partnership with Cordell & Cordell – a large family law firm with 200+ attorneys.
LawFi operates a lending platform capable of underwriting and funding customized legal fee loans. The platform enables point-of-sale legal fee loans to finance legal services provided to consumers and small business owners through a network of lawyers and law firms. LawFi states that its platform offers a “modern legal fee financing technology embedded into the lawyer’s practice at all points of contact with clients, lawyers can offer fee financing solutions for the first time.”
Similar to BNPL platforms, LawFi says its loans “provide legal clients with a better, faster, and easier way to Retain Now and Pay Later.”
Joseph Breda, CEO of Cordell & Cordell, said they will be able to serve clients with their family law and divorce matters.
“The firm is excited to partner with LawFi to help narrow the access to justice gap.”
